Wine gains prominence at the Sheraton Mendoza

Thematic hotels provide unique experiences to a public that seeks to be surprised by focusing on niches such as gastronomy, art and good living. Here, a guide to activities that have wine as the main exponent.

Staying at a resort that offers to go beyond the traditional, that offers the possibility of living a special or different experience, is a requirement that is increasingly demanded by travelers from all over the world.

Thematic hotels are characterized, as their name says, for being spaces set and decorated under a thematic line or common thread that guides the visitor. In other words, they are accommodations that work experientially. Due to its location, in the heart of Mendoza, Sheraton Mendoza proposes wine as the main actor.

“In our search to strengthen Mendoza as a tourist destination, from the hotel we understand that the enhancement of wine and its culture is vital; making it part of our entire proposal and understanding that more than a hotel and casino, we are a comprehensive entertainment center with wine as its axis. In addition, our property has a distinctive feature, that of being part of the first Mendoza business group “HIH” owner of Huentala Winesan exclusive winery located in Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, as the first hotel group to have its own winery,” they say from the hotel.

Thematic experiences around wine are:

  • Wine included: innovative experience that invites you to enjoy the wines of Huentala Wines freely in bars and restaurants.
  • Wine Roulette: monthly casino tournaments related to the theme of wine.
  • Between glasses: A pairing full of charm, where star winemakers and the best signature cuisine come together in a unique experience.
  • Wines & Vinyls: an invitation to the senses where wine, art, good music and the best gastronomy come together.
  • High Range: the premium wine fair that brings together prestigious wineries from all over Argentina.
  • Cava Between Glasses: space where it is possible to taste a selection of labels from the famous Entre Copas cycle.

The cycle “Between glasses” summons prominent winemakers to enjoy a dinner and tasting at the Mirador restaurant on the 17th floor of the hotel. This proposal is developed by pairing the stories and anecdotes behind its wines with a five-course tasting dinner prepared by the hotel’s executive chef, martin chacon.
