British Royals: Princess Kate shows herself as a beekeeper

For World Bee Day, Britain’s Princess Kate wore full protective gear as a beekeeper. Kensington Palace in London released a photo on Saturday showing King Charles III’s daughter-in-law. with honeycombs at her country estate in East England, Anmer Hall.

The royals are very interested in beekeeping, according to Buckingham Palace. There are four beehives in the grounds of the City Palace and another two in nearby Clarence House. “In season, the bees produce enough honey for Buckingham Palace and Clarence House to be self-sufficient,” the royal family said on Saturday. “In the past year, more than 300 jars of honey were made for use in the palace kitchens.”
