The royals are very interested in beekeeping, according to Buckingham Palace. There are four beehives in the grounds of the City Palace and another two in nearby Clarence House. “In season, the bees produce enough honey for Buckingham Palace and Clarence House to be self-sufficient,” the royal family said on Saturday. “In the past year, more than 300 jars of honey were made for use in the palace kitchens.”
