After a very successful passage through the cinemas comes “Creed III” to Amazon Prime Video. The film has Michael B Jordan making his directorial debut and returning as Adonis Creed in the third film in the hit franchise. It is the first film in the Rocky universe that does not have Sylvester Stallone as one of its protagonists.
What is Creed III about?
Jordan plays heavyweight champion Adonis (“Donnie”) Creed, son of boxing legend Apollo Creed, opposite Jonathan Majors as his childhood friend turned rival, Damien (Dame). The trilogy continues after the events of “Creed II”with Donnie preparing to face Dame in a fight that turns out to be much deeper than boxing.
The film also stars Tessa Thompson (“Creed”, “Chiaroscuro”), Jonathan Majors (“Da 5 Bloods”, “Lovecraft Country”), Wood Harris (“Creed”, “Blade Runner 2049”), Florian Munteanu (“Creed II”, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”), the newcomer Mila Kent and Phylicia Rashad (“Creed”, “Soul”).
Jordan directs from a script by Keenan Coogler (“Space Jam: A New Legacy”) and Zach Baylin (“King Richard”), from a story by ryan coogler (“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”), Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin.
