In a few days, the Hamburg cult German rappers Dokter Renz, König Boris and Björn Beton will have given their last concert in front of thousands of people. You already know what happens after that.
When the Hamburg hip-hop trio Fettes Brot gave their last farewell concert after 31 years on Saturday, the German rappers want to really turn things up a notch.
“Then there will be a big party. We will meet a lot of guests and will be completely overwhelmed to be able to talk to so many people. And at some point we will get drunk in the taxi and hopefully not wake up hungover the next day,” said Boris Lauterbach aka King Boris (49) of the German Press Agency in Hamburg.
Fettes Brot give their farewell concerts on Friday and Saturday in front of around 25,000 people on Hamburg’s trotting course in Bahrenfeld. Previously, they had performed at two club concerts in the Hamburger Markthalle at the beginning of the week. Fettes Brot are known for German rap catchy tunes such as “Nordisch By Nature”, “Jein”, “Emanuela”, “On Days Like These” and “Gay Girls” and have also become a cult for many.
