Marvel confirmed that the date of season 2 of the animated series What If…? will debut on December 22 in Disney+. In the spirit of the holiday season, the streamer will release episodes one at a time over nine nights.

Jeffrey Wright plays the Watcher, who narrates the series, along with several actors from MCU films reprising their roles. The episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley serving as head writer.
