Marvel confirmed that the date of season 2 of the animated series What If…? will debut on December 22 in Disney+. In the spirit of the holiday season, the streamer will release episodes one at a time over nine nights.

Second season of What If…? continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing new and familiar faces across the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars reprising their iconic roles.
This season is expected to feature characters like Nebula, Hela, and Happy Hogan.
Jeffrey Wright plays the Watcher, who narrates the series, along with several actors from MCU films reprising their roles. The episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley serving as head writer.
