In an interview, Travis Kelce doesn’t hold back when it comes to gushing about his new girlfriend, superstar Taylor Swift. He also tells how she changed his life forever.

Over the summer, Kelce began speaking publicly about Swift, repeatedly saying on his podcast what a big fan he was. The less than subtle dredging actually turned into something serious.

“When I met her in New York, we had already talked, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and a chat, and whatever comes next will come,” he explains. When Swift attended a football game of Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, a few weeks later, her fans were ecstatic.
“I learn something new every day”
Kelce can’t stop raving about it. “I’ve never been a man of many words. Being around her and seeing how smart Taylor is was fucking overwhelming. I’m learning every day,” he says proudly. This also includes dealing with public interest. As one of the most successful football stars in the USA, Kelce is used to attention, but not on this level. “Obviously I’ve never dated someone who has that kind of aura about them,” he explains. “But at the same time, I’m not running away from anything. There are paparazzi outside her house every day, every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she just lives and enjoys her life.”
They are both family people and have the same values – “which is exactly my thing,” says Kelce. When Kelce attended Swift’s concert in Argentina, the musician quickly changed the lines of one of her songs on stage. Out of “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me,” she did “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” But the athlete was particularly looking forward to another song of his Girlfriend. “‘Blank Space’ was one I really wanted to hear live. ‘I could make a bad guy good for the weekend’ – that’s a damn good line,” he said.
