Céline Dion (56) spent a lovely evening with her sons. On Thursday (May 16), she shared a rare photo of herself smiling at the camera with her twin sons Nelson and Eddy, 13, her eldest son Rene-Charles, 23, and Mick Jagger, 80. “This past Saturday I had the opportunity to see the Rolling Stones on their ‘Hackney Diamonds’ tour at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas,” the singer captioned the snap.
“What an incredible show! A very special thank you to Mick Jagger for the warm welcome from my family. You made us rock!” she continued. As the Mirror reports, Dion was seen dancing and crying in the audience during the concert.
Celine Dion has health problems
A carefree evening is not a given for Céline Dion. The Canadian superstar was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome two years ago. The rare autoimmune disease causes muscle spasms and stabbing pain and affects Dion’s ability to walk and sing. Her tour planned for 2023 therefore had to be canceled.
Since the diagnosis, the “My Heart Will Go On” interpreter has hardly been seen in public. At the Grammy Awards in February, she made a surprise appearance to present Taylor Swift (34) with the award for Album of the Year.
Her children give her strength
The musician doesn’t want to let the illness stop her in her everyday life. “Above all is the love of my family and my children, but also the love of the fans and the support of my team […] I have these resources and it is a gift. “More than that, I have this strength within me,” she explained in an interview last month.
Céline Dion’s three sons come from her marriage to René Angélil (1942-2016), whom she married in 1994. In 2016, her husband succumbed to cancer.
