In a context of boom in digital platforms to watch series and movies, Star + announced through an email to its subscribers that it will cease to exist. The date on which the platform will stop working in Argentina will be June 30.
The content you want to access is exclusive to subscribers.
Anyway, all content will be moved to what will be called Disney + Premium. Thus, Star+, like Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic and ESPN will be on Disney+.


The company’s leader in Latin America, Diego Lerner, explained that with this merger they seek “an improved, more complete experience and easier access for subscribers”.

- ESPN sports catalog, including basic linear channels and exclusive events, all without ads.
- Audio up to Dolby Atmos.
- Video up to 4k UHD and HDR.
- Simultaneous playback on four different devices.
- Download up to 25 titles on ten different devices.
How much will the new Disney + plans cost in June 2024
The plan of Disney+ Standard it will have a cost of $7,399 monthly or $62,149 annuallywhile that of Disney+ Premium it will be of $10,549 monthly or $88,599 annually.
