Céline Dion, who has rarely appeared in public in recent years, walked the red carpet in New York and gave a speech.

Céline Dion (56) has returned to the red carpet. The singer appeared with her son René-Charles Angélil (23) at a screening of her new documentary “I Am: Celine Dion” in New York City. In the Prime Video film, she gives an insight into her life and her struggle with a rare neurological disease, stiff person syndrome (SPS).

On the red carpet, Dion shone in an all-white look consisting of a long skirt and an elegant long-sleeved blouse decorated with a bow. She combined this with a silver belt, matching bracelets and earrings. René-Charles opted for a black suit, which he wore with a white shirt and dark tie. The 23-year-old and twins Nelson and Eddy (13) are the children of Dion and her late husband René Angélil (1942-2016).

Since being diagnosed with SPS in 2022, Céline Dion has largely withdrawn from the public eye. However, she made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February. She received a standing ovation when she took the stage to present the award for Album of the Year to Taylor Swift (34).
