Ann Wilson of Heartwho along with her sister Nancy announced in May that they would cancel their 2024 European summer tour, revealed that she recently underwent a cancer surgery.
In an Instagram post, Wilson said that “The operation was successful” and felt “very well” but that the doctors were now recommending that I undergo a preventive chemotherapy treatment.
“That’s why my doctors have told me to take the rest of the year off the stage to fully recover,” he continued. “I tell ticket buyers that I would really like to be able to do these shows. Please know that I plan to return to the stage in 2025. My team is finalizing the details and we will update you on the plan as soon as possible.”

Wilson later posted on her personal Instagram account: “I’m fine! Please don’t worry. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. It is certainly an inconvenience for me. Love and respect always, Ann.”
