“It was always her dream”
During their visit to the Italian capital last week, the couple looked at a small church as a possible wedding venue. According to an anonymous source, a wedding in Italy was the obvious choice. “Every time they go there, they come back even more in love,” she explained. “It has always been their dream to get married there.”
During their stay in the “Eternal City,” the allegedly engaged couple were spotted before Crowe’s performance with his band The Gentleman Barbers. When the two visited Rome in April this year, a large diamond ring was reportedly seen on Theriot’s ring finger. A source said: “Russell is not a man of grand gestures, but he made it official by putting a ring on Britney’s finger.”
Actress is a positive influence
In their relationship, Theriot has changed the New Zealand actor in a positive way, the source continued. “His friends have noticed that he has become calmer,” the alleged insider described the effect she is said to have on Crowe. In 2020, the couple were photographed in love for the first time during a game of tennis together. Sport is another thing they have in common, along with their love for Rome.
Before the relationship with Theriot, the film star was married to musician and actress Danielle Spencer (55) from 2003. In 2018, Crowe announced the divorce, the separation allegedly took place in 2012. The two have two children, who were born in 2003 and 2006.
