It is a typical Buenos Aires construction of its time; the roof consists of a bamboo-type framework, made from horse leather. The walls are made of mud and straw, about 45 cm thick and the floor plan is “chorizo” type, with four successive rooms.
Vicente González’s House, the “Carancho del Monte”
He was Juan Manuel de Rosas’ right-hand man. This house is located in the city centre and has railings on the outside, wooden doorways and cisterns.
