The story of ‘The Visitor’ focuses on the Detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelson) who is about to start a new case: the mutilated body of an 11-year-old boy has been found in the woods of Georgia and the events must be clarified.
Ralph is still Recovering from the death of his own sonwhich is why he will approach the case in an unconventional way, counting on the help from a private investigator, Holly Gibney (Cynthia Erivo), an unorthodox woman with mysterious abilities.
Although at first everything seems to have a plausible explanation, they will soon realize that a supernatural force seems to have a lot to do with the boy’s disappearance.
