The psychological thriller stars Blanchett and Kline and is told in seven episodes. The miniseries will make its world debut on October 11 with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday until November 15.
What is Disclaimer about?
Written and directed by Cuarón, Disclaimer is based on the successful novel of the same name by Renée Knight and follows journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett), who built her reputation by revealing the misdeeds and transgressions of others. When she receives a novel by an unknown author, she is horrified to realise that she is now the main character in a story that exposes her darkest secrets.
As Catherine races to discover the writer’s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys both her own life and her relationships with her husband Robert (Sacha Baron Cohen) and his son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee).
The cast includes Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Hoyeon and has Indira Varma as a narrator.
