“I don’t want to be beautiful – I want to be a type,” says Natascha Ochsenknecht. She turns 60 on August 17th.
Model, actress, author, reality star, influencer, beauty and fashion entrepreneur: Natascha Ochsenknecht (60) has tried many things in her life. She became famous through her marriage to actor Uwe Ochsenknecht (68). Even though she still bears his famous surname despite their divorce in 2012, she managed to make a name for herself in show business and, with her three children, is now one of the most famous TV families in Germany.
The large Ochsenknecht clan, like the American Kardashians, always has something to offer: be it new grandchildren – the 60-year-old now has four -, arguments with her son Jimi Blue (32) or news from the farm in Austria, where daughter Cheyenne (24) lives with her family. The events have been shown since 2022 in the docu-soap “Diese Ochsenknechts”, which will be entering its fourth season on Sky and Wow in spring 2025. Natascha Ochsenknecht also takes her 275,000 followers through her turbulent everyday life, which includes many train journeys, during which she likes to answer her fans’ questions and give one or two life tips.
She travels a lot and is a welcome guest at many celebrity parties. There, the 1.80 meter tall blonde attracts attention with her colorful outfits and self-confident demeanor. For a long time, a bright pink lipstick was her trademark – and she has also decorated her apartment in Berlin with lots of color and opulent decorations. On Instagram, she also regularly cheers people up with a funny “quote of the day”.
Natascha Ochsenknecht: “There is nothing more important than being healthy and happy”
Natascha Ochsenknecht radiates a lot of joie de vivre. And that is probably no coincidence: she had to undergo several serious abdominal operations and wants to enjoy her life as much as possible after the terrible experiences. She has a large scar on her midsection, which she does not hide but wears openly. “No matter what it looks like, the main thing is that you live,” she explained in 2021 and reported that she almost died: “Anyone who has fought for their life twice like me detests superficialities in life.” So her greatest wish for her big birthday is probably to be spared from further illnesses as much as possible. “There is nothing more important than being healthy and happy.”
She doesn’t necessarily need a man to be happy. After her almost 20-year marriage to Uwe Ochsenknecht, she had a turbulent on-off relationship with footballer Umut Kekilli (40) for over eight years until the end of 2017, which also caused a stir because of the age difference. After that, she appeared at a few events with the equally younger cameraman Oliver Schumann, but the relationship only lasted about eight months. “He’s a great guy and we really didn’t see each other very much and then things just fell apart a bit, which is of course a shame,” she explained to “RTL” in 2019 about the reason for the separation. Since then, she has been single and enjoying her independence.
The daughter of a building contractor, who was born as Natascha Wierichs in Düsseldorf and grew up in Lower Saxony, initially started out as a model. At the age of 24, she met Uwe Ochsenknecht and fell in love with him. After two weeks, they moved in together, and four weeks later she was already pregnant, she said in spring 2024 to Barbara Schöneberger (50). Wilson Gonzalez (34) was born in 1990, followed by Jimi Blue at the end of 1991. Only later did Ochsenknecht speak of the sad experience of a miscarriage that she suffered. Her daughter Cheyenne Savannah was born in 2000.
Natascha Ochsenknecht already took on smaller film roles during the marriage. After the divorce, she established herself as a reality star and has appeared in virtually every show there is for celebrities – from “The Perfect Celebrity Dinner” (2014) to “Celebrity Big Brother” (2016) and “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” (2018).
