Cardi B’s children are called Kulture and Wave. The rapper is currently pregnant again – and fans are busy speculating about the baby’s name.
There are no limits to the creativity of celebrities when it comes to finding names for their children. Stars and starlets regularly outdo each other with unusual names for their offspring. Rapper Cardi B (31) has also given her daughter Kulture Kiari (6) and her son Wave Set (3) unusual first names. However, the musician has now denied that her third child will be called Hurricane.
Cardi B, who is currently expecting her third baby with her on-off partner Offset (32), reacted to a fan’s claim that she had chosen this name for her unborn child. “Cardi shares ultrasound picture of baby ‘Hurricane’,” a fan page on the short message service captioned a photo taken from an Instagram post by the pregnant woman. “Who???,” the Grammy winner replied, visibly confused, adding crying emojis.
The singer has not yet revealed whether she is expecting a boy or a girl this time. But her baby doesn’t seem to be called Hurricane.
Baby announcement and divorce filing on one day
Cardi B announced her third pregnancy on August 1st with a photo in which she can already be seen with a considerable baby bump. “With every end comes a new beginning!” she wrote promisingly – and according to consistent media reports, filed for divorce from her husband Offset on the same day. The musician had already confirmed the separation in a livestream last December, but the couple briefly reunited in the new year.
For Cardi B and Offset, who have been married since 2017 and will soon have three children together, this is by no means the first separation. In 2020, the 31-year-old even filed for divorce, but then withdrew the application.
