The youngest daughter of British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will attend cooking school. For this, she needs the right chef’s uniform.
Matilda Ramsay (22) graduated in psychology from the University of Nottingham in July. However, the daughter of Gordon Ramsay (57) is apparently taking a different path: in the autumn she will attend cooking school. Her father welcomes their shared interest in culinary arts and shows this with a special shopping trip.
Matilda Ramsay recently showed off a complete chef look in an Instagram story. “I went shopping for a different type of uniform yesterday,” she wrote above the snapshot, which shows her in a classic white chef’s jacket, blue trousers and black kitchen shoes. Her father took her “to buy my first chef’s clothes as I’m going to culinary school in September!” she wrote, adding: “I’m so excited about this next chapter and Dad and I had the most exciting day getting all my uniform and equipment.” The 22-year-old has already appeared in several of her father’s cooking shows and was on the jury alongside him on “MasterChef Junior”, among other things.
“Happiest father in the world”
At the end of July, Matilda announced her graduation from university. She wrote alongside pictures of the graduation ceremony: “Three years and a psychology degree later. I’ve had the best time at university and made some of the best friends while learning to balance life and studying.” She can’t believe this chapter is now over, but she’s excited about the future,” Gordon Ramsay’s daughter noted with a cooking and pan emoji. She also thanked her parents “for all your support, I couldn’t have done it without you.”
The celebrity chef also honored his daughter’s graduation with a series of photos of the special day on Instagram. “She did it,” he enthused in his post. “I can’t stress enough how proud we are of her for everything you’ve been through and seeing you graduate with your psychology degree today makes me the happiest dad in the world – congratulations, my love!”
Ramsay and his wife Tana Ramsay (50), who have been married since 1996, have six children. “Please say hello to Jesse James Ramsay,” he wrote on Instagram in November 2023, announcing the birth of their youngest son. Ramsay also hinted in his post that family planning is now complete with the birth of little Jesse: “Three boys, three girls… Done.” In addition to Jesse and Matilda, they also have daughter Megan (26), twins Jack and Holly (24), and son Oscar (5).
