The twins of “Let’s Dance” professionals Alexandru and Patricija Ionel are here. Their son now has a brother and a sister.
Patricija Ionel and her husband Alexandru Ionel hold happiness in their hands. The two “Let’s Dance” professional dancers have released the first pictures of their twins. The photos show the proud parents with the babies in their arms. “For a long time we could hardly believe it, but it worked – our two sweet little ones came into this wonderful world fit and healthy,” they confirmed the birth of the boy and girl.
“We couldn’t be happier,” the post continues. “Now a new journey begins for us as a family and we are so excited to share it with you.” The couple also explains the snapshots: “You see direct images from the delivery room – the happy and totally exhausted dad with our boy, and me, super exhausted but overjoyed with our daughter. This moment means so much to us and that no longer means ‘there will soon be five of us’, but ‘there are five of us’.” In the following Instagram posts, the couple then wants to tell more “about the names of our twins”.
“Let’s Dance” stars congratulate
In the comments section, the “Let’s Dance” family sent some congratulations, including from juror Motsi Mabuse, who joked: “We’ll take you on the ‘Let’s Dance’ tour, there are enough babysitters. I know at least two,” she wrote, tagging her fellow jurors Joachim Llambi and Jorge González. “Let’s Dance” pro Ekaterina Leonova commented: “Congratulations. You all look so cute together.”
Patricija Ionel took part in this year’s “Let’s Dance” season alongside entrepreneur Tillman Schulz. After the second show, it was over for the two. Alexandru Ionel danced through the RTL show with influencer Sophia Thiel. For Thiel, however, it was over in the sixth regular edition. In May 2024, Alexandru and Patricija Ionel then used the dance floor of the “Let’s Dance Profi Challenge” to reveal the genders of their twins.

Patricija had given a letter from her gynecologist to the production, which then kept the happy news a secret. At the end of their dance, Alexandru and Patricija Ionel found out the gender when blue and pink confetti flew across the dance floor.
The two have been married since 2022. At the end of January 2022, they also announced the birth of their first son, Noelis.
