Donald Trump has won the battle for the White House. Michael Douglas has no explanation as to how he was able to win by far.
Many celebrities supported Kamala Harris (60) before the US presidential election. After Donald Trump’s (78) victory, many people were disillusioned and disappointed. Hollywood star Michael Douglas (80) is now wondering how Trump was able to emerge as the clear winner of the election so quickly after a close neck-and-neck race had previously been predicted in many places.
First “no idea” and then a hole-in-one
Douglas was a guest on the show “Real Time with Bill Maher.” The actor expressed his disappointment about the outcome of the US election. Despite all the chaos and turmoil, he also recently experienced a positive moment.
“After Tuesday evening, I was so angry on Wednesday morning about this razor-thin race,” Douglas explained. “It should be so close, with all these surveys…”, but the result is tantamount to annihilation. “I have no idea how this happened.” He then went playing golf “to clear his head.” Pleasing for the star: Douglas played nine holes and made a hole-in-one. So he was able to hole straight in with his tee shot.
Host Bill Maher (68) said before Douglas’ appearance that he did not vote for Trump. : “For months Democrats have said, ‘How can this even be close?’ And they’re right, it wasn’t. They couldn’t imagine a second Trump term, but they should have. When has America ever turned down a second term?
