After a miscarriage, Megan Fox is expecting another baby with Machine Gun Kelly. Is it the happy ending for their complicated on-off love?

This couple is always good for a scandal: Since actress Megan Fox (38) and rapper Machine Gun Kelly (34) got together in 2020, they have attracted a lot of attention with hot vows of love, bloody rituals and scandalous appearances. The motto “It doesn’t work with each other, but it doesn’t work without each other” seems to apply perfectly to the two stars. After a traumatic miscarriage and mysterious disengagement, they apparently got back together. Is the baby the happy ending to their complicated love?

They fell head over heels in love on the film set

The beginning of the relationship took place under difficult conditions. They met in March 2020 on the set of the indie thriller “Midnight in the Switchgrass” – at the time, Fox was still married to actor Brian Austin Green (51), with whom she has three sons. The fact that she left him for the rapper brought her a lot of criticism.

Green, on the other hand, reacted to the separation with understanding: “I can’t be mad at her because she didn’t ask to feel that way,” he said in a podcast. However, the couple had to lead a patchwork life from the start, which brought with it many challenges. Machine Gun Kelly also has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Oaths of love to each other

In July 2020, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly gave their first interview together on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s “Give Them Lala… With Randall” podcast and revealed their connection. The actress said of the first meeting: “I knew immediately that he was what I call a twin flame. A twin flame is not a soulmate, but a soul that has ascended so high that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time . So I think we’re actually two halves of the same soul. And I told him that almost immediately because I felt it right away.”

A month later, he gushed on Instagram: “I’ve been waiting forever to find you again…” She then assured him: “My heart belongs to you.” In an interview with “Nylon” in November 2020, she emphasized: “Loving him is like being in love with a tsunami or a forest fire. The intensity of merging with him is simply overwhelming, and the threat that it poses is so powerful but so beautiful that you have no choice but to surrender to it with awe and gratitude.”

Love tattoos and blood rituals

Shortly after, they made their red carpet couple debut at the American Music Awards. Megan Fox presented a new shoulder tattoo with the inscription “El pistolero” (Spanish for “the shooter”), which is said to have been created in honor of her boyfriend. The first Valentine’s Day together on February 14, 2021 also got under the skin: Machine Gun Kelly posted a gallery of pictures and videos in honor of his wife, including a photo of a necklace that appeared to contain a drop of her blood. “I wear your blood around my neck,” he wrote.

They also demonstrated their great passion for each other at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2021: On the sidelines of the event, hot French kiss pictures were taken that showed the couple next to Kourtney Kardashian (45) and Travis Barker (48).

After more than a year of dating, the rapper proposed marriage in January 2022. The couple announced their engagement with separate Instagram posts. She revealed that they drank each other’s blood afterwards and later confirmed to British magazine Glamor: “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do occasionally drink each other’s blood, and only for ritual purposes.”

The engagement ring consisted of two rings with small thorns, which made it painful to take off the piece of jewelry. The couple also got unusual ring finger tattoos over the course of their relationship: voodoo dolls with attached hearts and visible seams.

Crisis instead of wedding

Around a year after the engagement, instead of a wedding, there were the first rumors of crisis. Shortly after the 2023 Grammys, Fox enraged her fans when she suggested on Instagram that the couple had split. An insider later said the couple had argued and Fox was “very upset” and no longer wanted to speak to MGK. In March 2023, the actress appeared alone at the “Vanity Fair” Oscar afterparty and was conspicuously not wearing an engagement ring.

Afterwards there was some public guesswork about the status of the relationship. Because the two of them appeared together at events from time to time. In early 2024, Megan Fox confirmed that the engagement had been called off. She previously revealed in November 2023 that she suffered a miscarriage. That was “very difficult” for her and the musician, she reported on the US show “Good Morning America”.

Music video fueled speculation about love comeback and baby

However, despite the challenges, the stars never seem to have lost sight of each other. In the summer of 2024, she appeared in his music video for “Lonely Road”. In it she was seen as a pregnant woman, which caused all sorts of speculation. On November 11th, she announced in a post on Instagram that she was actually pregnant again.

“Nothing is ever truly lost. Welcome back,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself showing off her baby bump – a lyric excerpt from the MGK song “Last November” about the couple’s miscarriage. After the turbulent four years, the signs now point to family happiness. Even Brian Austin Green’s fiancée and mother of his fifth son, Sharna Burgess, 39, immediately sent congratulations, writing: “Welcome little one, we’re all so excited to meet you.”
