Fans had to wait a long time, now Linkin Park are going on a world tour with new music. The rock band also wants to visit four German cities next year.
The US band Linkin Park is coming to Germany for four concerts in 2025. Shows are planned in June and July in Hanover (June 16th), Berlin (June 18th), Düsseldorf (July 1st) and Frankfurt am Main (July 8th), the sextet announced on Instagram. The band, which enjoyed worldwide success with hits like “Numb” and “In the End”, wants to celebrate their stage comeback after a break of several years with a big world tour. The concert tour is scheduled to begin in Mexico in January and end in Brazil in November.
After the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington, who took his own life in 2017, Linkin Park was quiet for a long time. About two months ago the band surprisingly returned – with Emily Armstrong as the new singer and Colin Brittain as the new drummer.
Since then, the fans’ enthusiasm has continued: The new song “The Emptiness Machine” has been at the top of the German single charts for nine weeks. A mini-tour to celebrate the return, including a concert in Hamburg, sold out in a short time. The new studio album “From Zero” will be released on November 15th.
