Pietro Lombardi and his Laura: They are postponing their wedding plans

Pietro Lombardi (32) and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa (28) are further postponing their wedding plans. The singer confirmed in March that the wedding would take place in 2025. Now Rypa wrote in a question and answer session on Instagram that the right time had not yet come.

“We are in no hurry to get married. The original plan was to get married when Leano was a little older and could consciously experience the day,” explained Rypa. However, the couple now wants to wait until their youngest son Amelio can “share this special moment with us”.

In addition, her appointment calendar is currently already full. There is “still enough to do with the construction site of the house,” explained Rypa. The two bought a home in Cologne last year, which is currently being renovated. “The baptism of Amelio” is also still pending. In addition, the timing has to be right “and we want to approach everything calmly,” she explained.

In addition to the renovation work and the christening, Lombardi has a tour coming up in February. As he explained two weeks ago, it will be “the last Pietro Lombardi tour for the next few years.” His future at “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, however, is less clear. After an argument between the couple became public, the “Bild” newspaper reported that the rapper Bushido (46) would take the place of the “DSDS” juror in the next season. However, Lombardi explained on Instagram that he “maybe” will appear on the show again.

Lombardi and Rypa have been dating since 2020, barring an initial breakup. At the end of October 2022, he asked for his partner’s hand in marriage, who gave birth to their son Leano in January 2023. They welcomed their son Amelio in August 2024. Lombardi also shares son Alessio (9) with his ex-wife Sarah Engels (32).
