Marc Terenzi: From the addiction clinic to Turkey

Marc Terenzi (46) apparently wants to start a new life in Turkey after his withdrawal. As , the singer left Germany after his therapy in a Berlin clinic. He has been living in Turkey since the beginning of November, with his best friend’s family.

The former member of the boy band Natural, who repeatedly struggled with alcohol problems and financial difficulties, is planning a new beginning in the Ordu province on the Black Sea. He gets help from his old friend Ufuk Cos, whom he has known for 22 years. “Bild” quoted the fitness trainer as saying: “He looked like a wet sack, had a few kilos too much on his ribs. Our goal is to make him look like a man again. Recently he looked more like a handbag .”

Instead of alcohol, Terenzi now prefers to read a book – and he also wants to get back in shape physically. “I learned a lot about myself in the Berlin therapy with the many conversations,” he told “Bild”. “But the physical aspect fell by the wayside. I’ve made up for it now, and I want to continue on this path. I’m more balanced and fit than I’ve been for a long time.”

At the end of October, the 2017 jungle king announced that he had left the addiction clinic after around 70 days. He described the therapy as the best decision of his life. “I should have done this much earlier.” He recognized patterns of behavior that he kept falling back into. He now wants to work on himself and get his life back under control.

Marc Terenzi was married to Sarah Connor (44) from 2004 to 2010 and the two have two children together. Most recently, his relationship with Verena Kerth (44) made a lot of headlines. He proposed to her after she was expelled from the jungle camp in 2023. The wedding was originally supposed to take place this year. But at the end of July she made her separation from Terenzi public. At the time, she described the years of the turbulent relationship in an Instagram story as “a crazy roller coaster ride that demanded a lot from me psychologically.”
