Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (60) and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez (55) apparently want to tie the knot next week. , there are secret wedding plans for the days after Christmas. The backdrop will be the luxury ski resort of Aspen in the US state of Colorado.
According to insiders, it will be an intimate wedding celebration with around 50 guests. The celebrations are expected to last several days and include various activities. Accordingly, the couple has fully booked the exclusive sushi restaurant Matsuhisa for December 26th or 27th, and the actual wedding ceremony is planned for December 28th.
Wedding at Kevin Costner’s ranch?
According to the report, the Amazon founder and second richest man in the world has been in Aspen with his entourage since yesterday, Saturday (December 21st). According to unconfirmed rumors, the wedding ceremony will take place at Kevin Costner’s (69) estate Dunbar Ranch. In total, Bezos and Sánchez are expected to spend around $600 million on the celebrations. According to the report, the couple’s guests will be staying in the exclusive five-star St. Regis Hotel.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez got engaged on Bezos’ superyacht in May 2023 and have kept possible wedding plans a secret ever since. Lauren Sánchez recently revealed that she had already bought her wedding dress, but there were no public plans for the celebration yet. But she admitted to being “very excited.”
Second marriage for both
It is the second marriage for both of them. Bezos and Sánchez had an extramarital affair in 2018 while both were still married.
Jeff Bezos has been married to MacKenzie Scott (54) since 1993, with whom he has four children. In January 2019, they announced they were getting a divorce. Lauren Sánchez, who previously worked as a TV journalist, was married to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell from 2005 to 2019, with whom she shares two children. She has another son from a previous relationship.
Bezos and Sánchez have officially been a couple since 2020.
