At the annual general meeting of the Wels beekeepers, everything revolved around the top performances in the latest honey quality test. A total of ten beekeepers from Wels took part in the honey control and had their honey tested in the laboratory of the Upper Austrian beekeepers’ association. The bee friends cleared away a lot. In total, they achieved 41 quality certificates. “A new record, which once again underlines the great work of the Wels beekeepers and the excellent quality of their honey,” emphasizes Wolfgang Burgstaller, chairman of the Wels beekeepers’ association.
Beekeeping elite in Wels
From February 17th to 19th, beekeepers from all over Europe will meet in Wels for the 53rd specialist conference of the Austrian Professional Beekeepers Association. After a two-year break, a personal exchange is taking place again for the first time at the exhibition center. Beekeepers find out about innovations on 4700 m2 of exhibition space. The conference with lectures is designed for up to 1200 participants.
