Thanks one “sleuthing corner” can now go to Kindergarten Palting “researched” specially developed furniture and utensils from the MINT area are available to the children. This should encourage enthusiasm for natural sciences and technology at a young age.

How do you program a robot? Can you tell cold water from warm water visually? How do you extinguish a candle flame with a glass? These and many other questions will be answered in the “sleuthing corner” got to the bottom in Palting. In almost 100 experiments, children would have the opportunity to pursue their natural urge to explore and discover the world independently, according to the partners.

“The Sensing Corner offers children the opportunity to discover their interests and talents for different technical and scientific areas. We are particularly happy about the enormous variety of the Spürnasenecke, which means that we can always offer the children something new”, says Sabrina Reichl, head of the Palting kindergarten. The furniture for the various utensils from the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology was specially developed by Spürnasenecke GmbH and built by a regional carpenter.

The costs were borne entirely by a group of sponsors, above all the company EVER Neuro Pharma GmbH with Julia Hillebrand. “The earlier we introduce children to science and technology, the better. In this way, we give them the chance to better understand their environment and to discover dormant talents in them.” In addition, there is also a new approach to combating the ever-increasing shortage of skilled workers.

“We are currently experiencing some dramatic situations on the labor market because companies can no longer find qualified skilled workers. If we want more technically adept specialists in the future, then we have to start at a young age and encourage existing talent as early as possible.”

Other sponsors of “sleuthing corner” in Palting are the companies Kainz Group, Raiffeisenbank Palting, Möbel Laimer, Pappas Holding, Fahrraum Mattsee and Bus-Taxi Knauseder. Details on the project can be found at www.spuernasenecke.com
