“We recently ran a snack bar at a hardware store in Ried and were looking for a permanent location. That was a great fit.” Burgstaller now runs the “Treff” restaurant at the Hohenzell shooting center, which is intended to expand the culinary offerings in the region. “The first few days went very well. We are happy about all the guests.”
The newly furnished tavern offers 60 seats, another 60 for the summer operation on the terrace. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. – except on Tuesdays, when it is closed. Traditional and home cooking as well as liquids from the Ried brewery are served. “We source the meat from the region. This also applies to the snack products. And there are homemade pofesen.”
