Season opener for MTB professionals from Altaussee

Since the end of January, the 37-year-old has been in Spain for five weeks to build up his form, where he took part in the Mediterranean Epic stage race, which belongs to the UCI category HC.

Last year’s season was rather mixed for Pliem. Although he achieved two respectable results with 13th place overall at the Cape Epic and eighth place at the Brasil Ride, the Ausseerlander also had to accept a few setbacks. The outlook is characterized by optimism. Pliem: “Together with my new trainer, I’ve changed a few things and integrated new stimuli into my everyday training.”
