The Tritscheler company from St. Marienkirchen near Schärding is a full-service provider for brick roller shutter boxes and sun protection systems and does good business beyond the region. 100 employees produce and assemble high-quality and individual products at the company headquarters in St. Marienkirchen. In the previous year, sales of 16 million euros were achieved.
Robot controlled manufacturing
Tritscheler produces brick roller shutter boxes, roller shutters and insect screens in-house and is the market leader for roller shutter boxes, according to the company. In order to further expand the market position, one million euros was recently invested in a new, robot-controlled production plant for brick roller shutter boxes. Venetian blinds are also produced on a fully automatic production line in St. Marienkirchen.
Most recently, the company presented two new products at a major customer event at the Stadlerhof in Wilhering in front of 150 invited guests from the industry including trading partners: an innovative slatted roof and a high-quality fabric pavilion. There was also a presentation by the weather expert Andreas Jäger, who spoke about the challenges posed by climate change in the area of housing.
“Due to the advancing climate change and the associated rising temperatures, protection against excessive solar radiation is becoming more and more important,” says Tritscheler Managing Director Vinzenz Stocker. In addition, high-quality sun protection has now become the standard in house construction and in the renovation of residential buildings.
“Many families are looking for solutions to spend more time outdoors in the garden, on the terrace or on the balcony in the summer. However, this is no longer possible without sun protection or shading. The summers are getting longer, the temperatures are getting hotter and the hours of sunshine are increasing More and more every year. That’s why many are planning and building a second outdoor living room,” says Tritscheler sales manager Alois Traunwieser. With the newly presented slat roof in combination with sliding glass walls and vertical awnings, comfortable outdoor living can be designed. A summer fabric pavilion is also new. Both products are offered exclusively by Tritscheler in Austria. The sun protection manufacturer, which is active in new construction and renovation, is thus also developing into a specialist in the “outdoor living” segment.
From the awning to the fully equipped summer garden, the full range for outdoor life is offered. Perfectly planned sun protection not only helps to keep the rooms pleasantly cool in summer, but also offers good privacy and has a “burglary-resistant” effect. In combination with motorization and insect protection, these systems offer a perfect basis for relaxed living or working, says Tritscheler.
