The argument between three men from the drug milieu already happened on Monday night. The man is now out of danger, the police said when asked by the APA on Tuesday. A 24-year-old suspect was arrested and taken to the Leoben prison.
According to the police, the reason for the nightly meeting of the three men may have been an upcoming sale of narcotic drugs. Two Iraqi brothers (25 and 27 years old) met the 24-year-old at around 4 a.m. in front of an apartment building. However, a dispute soon developed between the parties involved. The 24-year-old is said to have made threats to the two brothers and confirmed them with a knife: The 25-year-old was first caught on the arm, then he was stabbed in the upper hip area. The 27-year-old was also attacked, but escaped unharmed.
According to the doctors treating him at the LKH Judenburg, the 25-year-old had to be operated on immediately due to the life-threatening injury. His condition has now stabilized. The suspect was found by police at his home and arrested.
