Aerolíneas Argentinas restores the direct route between Montevideo and Ezeiza

Aerolíneas Argentinas will begin to make direct flights between Carrasco International Airport and the one of Ezeizawhich will allow stopovers without changing terminals, with destinations such as New York, Rome, Cancun, Punta Cana and Havana.

The flights will start from monday april 10 and they will have a three times a week frequency. The days will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays and the times to Buenos Aires will be at 7:30 p.m., while those with a destination to Montevideo have a departure time at 6:10 a.m. From the company they informed that the tickets are already on sale where it is possible to make combinations with destinations to Cancun, New York, Rome, Punta Cana and Havana.

The business manager of Uruguayan airports, Matthias Carlucciostated that “the return of this route is a great opportunity because it increases Uruguay’s connectivity, not only with Argentina, but also with the rest of the world.”

For his part, the regional manager for Uruguay and Paraguayan of Argentine Airlines, Gaston de Chazalstated that this new operation “is designed to respond to the needs and demands of customers and to reinforce the connection lines between the two countries.”
