A 16-year-old is said to have used his eleven and seven-year-old brothers, who are under criminal responsibility, to steal a large sum of cash, investigators said on Friday. The seven-year-old is said to have been the one who was in the bank on the day of the crime, March 1st.

During the attempted robbery, the little boy demanded cash from the employees and threatened violence if the loot was not handed over. Shortly thereafter, the child walked out of the bank again. The boy left behind a suitcase, the danger of which was initially unclear. Only specialists determined the harmlessness.

With the help of the piece of luggage and the video surveillance, the investigators were now able to identify the three suspects. The eldest brother let the eleven-year-old buy the suitcase and a day later sent the seven-year-old to the bank. During a search of the parents’ home, police confiscated various pieces of evidence. The 16-year-old was arrested and brought before a magistrate, but the arrest warrant was suspended again under reporting requirements.
