Head-up display across the pane at BMW

The name: Panoramic Vision. The information is projected onto a darkened strip on the lower edge of the pane. The light and contrast levels should be extremely high, according to BMW. The driver decides which details are displayed. And also what information the passenger sees. Thanks to the head-up display, the cockpit can be streamlined and thus become clearer. In addition, the driver can focus more on the road than on the displays behind the steering wheel.
