The rain, which is urgently needed in large parts of Austria, is still not in sight, despite a few showers. The maximum temperatures are around 20 degrees. In detail:

At the Monday Disturbance causes a mix of dense clouds and some sunshine at the start of the week. Short rain showers will pass with the clouds until well into the afternoon, but most of them north of the main Alpine ridge and in the north and east of Austria. The snow line is usually between 1,500 and 1,800 meters above sea level, but individual snow showers can make it much lower. As a result, the tendency to shower will decrease by the evening and the clouds will also become fewer. The wind blows moderately to briskly from the west, especially in the east, otherwise it is rather weak. The morning temperatures before the start of spring on Tuesday night are around two to nine degrees, the maximum daily temperatures between eleven and 18 degrees.

At the Tuesday calmer weather can be expected again with slowly increasing air pressure. The sun shines frequently, but a few dense patches of cloud can temporarily pass through, especially in the north and east. However, rain or showers are not expected. In addition, there is generally only a weak wind. From minus one to plus eight degrees in the morning, the temperatures rise to 13 to 19 degrees.

At the Wednesday Sunshine will prevail with weak westerly upper-level current and high-pressure influence. Only harmless, high clouds move across the sky at times. Only in the far west does the cloud cover increase in the evening. The wind will be weak to moderate from southeast to west. The early temperatures range from one to seven degrees, the daily highs reach 16 to 21 degrees.

At the Thursday a fault zone lies over Austria with westerly high-altitude currents. Dense cloud fields spread quickly and some rain is to be expected, especially on the north side of the Alps and in the north. In the north, brisk westerly winds pick up, otherwise the wind usually only blows weakly from the south-east to west. It’s three to nine degrees in the morning and a maximum of 15 to 20 degrees in the afternoon.

At the Friday it remains unstable with the westerly high-altitude current. In general, sun and clouds change and there are also a few rain showers, with a focus on the north side of the Alps and in the north. The south has the best weather, it usually stays dry here. Moderate to brisk south-west to west winds. The early temperatures are three to ten degrees, the maximum daily temperatures rise to 14 to 21 degrees.
