As part of the celebrationsPutin assured that his country is in the midst of a “real war” declared by the West, which he accused of forgetting the lessons of World War II.
“Against our homeland again a real war has been unleashed. But we we resist terrorism international and also we will defend the inhabitants of Donbas and we will guarantee our security,” the Russian president said on Red Square during the lackluster military parade.
