The successful streak of the Union Vaulting and Riding Club in Braunau continues: The girls and now two boys from the club have won numerous victories and podium finishes at the Upper Austrian Cup in Gschwandt, from junior to top class S. Of the 100 youngsters, Sarah Mitter and Hermina Grosser won their age groups. Sophia Glas took second place, Clara Ortner and Elina Krulis each came in third.

From the four junior groups, Clara, Sarah, Hermina, Cholena, Sophia, Victoria and Miriam Feßl secured second place on Freaky Lady on the lunge of Martina Wittich. The second group consisting of Leonie Hauer, Rianna Moise, Lea Gruber, Lena Wengler, Mona Mayrböck, Valentina Baldauf, Anja Forster and Leon Moser dared to jump into class A at this tournament and showed remarkable performances both in the group and in the individual After all, the obligatory gallop has to be shown here, which was done very well with horse Simba on the lunge of Dagmar Miksche. Miriam Feßl won the category A on her debut on Daron on the longe from Elke Forthuber. Places two to seven went to Leonie, Lea, Mona, Valentina, Leon and Anja.

Rianna achieved a respectable sixth place in Division B, having to compete with the veterans in Division A. Here Magdalena Pfoser took second place. She vaulted the new horse Freaky Lady. The mare did her rounds unimpressed by Monika Seidl and thus not only made it possible for Lara Walluschnig, Sina Müller, Valentina Mörtl and Lena Roitner to place second to fifth in category C, but also to earn the long-awaited promotion grades for class L. The Girls were also able to win the L-class group competition with Freaky Lady. Denise Guschel took second place in the individual L, followed by Katharina Aigner and Julia Demmelbauer, who also owe their horse Daron promotion grades to the next higher class.

The icing on the cake were the results in the highest classes: Leonie Mühlthaler won the individual M class ahead of Lea Priewasser and Sophia Kettler. In the individual S Junior, Jakob Baischer – still in third place after the compulsory competition – won with a beautifully executed freestyle on the horse Sognato and in the seniors Sarah Irber won ahead of Judith Gehmayr. Sarah and Leonie also showed a beautifully executed pas-de-deux freestyle on Daron and took second place.
With these results, the club also provides a considerable part of the team that represents Upper Austria at the provincial team championships in June: Lara Walluschnig, Denise Guschel, Katharina Aigner, Lea Priewasser, Jakob Baischer and Judith Gehmayr will do their best in Innsbruck.
