For months, two 17-year-old boys kept investigators on their toes. The duo, according to the police an Iranian and a Romanian, admitted to having committed the burglaries between October 1st and March 15th. Not only that: During the interrogation, they stated that they were also responsible for breaking into a waste collection center. The 17-year-olds stole tools from it, which they used for further crimes.
Ultimately, they themselves helped the officials at the Schwanenstadt inspection station to track them down: the young people were convicted through their “story” on social networks. During the house search, the police found some of the stolen items. The boys from the Vöcklabruck district caused damage in the five-digit range. Both are displayed.
