Gustavo Petro’s unusual mistake
In the midst of the search for the four minors, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, had assured that they had already been located for the troops but hours later they confirmed that the information was false.
For this reason, the president had to go out to rectify the information and apologize for his mistake: “I have decided to delete the trill (tweet) because the information provided by the ICBF (Colombian Institute of Family Welfare) could not be confirmed. I’m sorry about what happened. The Military Forces and the indigenous communities will continue in their tireless search to give the country the news it is waiting for,” he said on Twitter.
