The cooperation partner of the dance event in Leondinger Kürnberghalle is the Oberösterreichische Nachrichten. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the ball offers a safe setting in which people with dementia can take a break together with their relatives.

A ball as an exclamation mark

“We want to set an exclamation point with the forget-me-not ball and remind people who suffer from a disease in which forgetting plays a major role – dementia,” says Sabine Wögerbauer, head of the “Regenbogen” dementia day center in Linz. With her team, she is the driving force behind the ball. The idea for this came about through dance courses with rainbow day guests – with the hits of the past, the legs move all by themselves.

Admission is free, for organizational reasons we ask that you register by May 31st: by phone on 0676/87341505 or by email to [email protected]
