Since the beginning of May, 3b pupils at the Ried elementary school have been busy tinkering with their teacher Wolfgang Lehermayr and Doris Ramsebner, the mother of a pupil, and growing young plants. They did all this together for a stall for a good cause.
They now sold smiley stones, soaps, lanterns, crocheted baskets and much more in the rectory. The result is 1,600 euros, which the students have now donated to the Red Cross Market in Kremsmünster. Volunteers at the market accepted this donation from the children, who were justifiably proud and delighted with their success.
More than 220 people are currently using the Rotkreuz market in Kremsmünster to shop cheaply. “We are dependent on the generous support and donations, such as that of the Rieder students, in order to be able to maintain our basic range of non-perishable food and hygiene items,” the Rotkreuz district office in Kirchdorf announced with great thanks.
