After passing through Chile, Lacalle Pou participated in a meeting with owners of firms from different areas, such as finance, energy, automotive, logistics and food. Precisely this last sector is fundamental in the Uruguayan strategy, which aims to promote products such as meat.


Regarding the meeting, the director of Uruguay XXI, Sebastián Risso, He highlighted that there were businessmen from all over the region. “Some with presence in Uruguay; others with presence in Latin America, but seeing the country,” he expressed in dialogue with Telemundo and added that even “there are others who are not on the continent, but come to Uruguay as a possible gateway”.
