A police officer saved the life of a 31-year-old at the Wels folk festival

At around 12:30 a.m., officers from the Upper Austria emergency unit were on the move at the Welser Volksfest when they became aware of an unconscious person. A 31-year-old from Gunskirchen suffered a cardiac arrest. One of the officers, Matthias, immediately began resuscitation measures and the emergency services were also alerted. The man began to breathe again by the time the rescue team arrived, and the man from Gunskirch was then taken to the Wels Clinic.
