At around 9:30 p.m., the pensioner raised the alarm with the police: there was no trace of his 79-year-old wife at that time. Since the man suspected that the woman might have driven to Salzburg, the Postbus garage in Bad Ischl was searched and the drivers were asked for information. The 79-year-old was also searched for along the bus route and in the city of Salzburg. A police patrol from Ischl finally discovered the woman just 300 meters from her home. She was returned home unharmed.
