“No trivial offenses”

The 31-year-old is waiting for reclaims of the AMS support she wrongly applied for. The financial police also filed a report of fraud with the public prosecutor’s office and with the tax office for tax evasion. “Such cases are not trivial offenses and damage the principles of a fair economy and a solidarity-based society,” said Finance Minister Magnus Brunner (ÖVP).

90 euros per cake

The financial police became aware of an advertisement that referred to the woman’s Instagram account. There she posted 806 pictures to promote her cakes. The platform also offered the option to place orders via direct message. The illegal confectioner collected 90 euros per cake. These were elaborate creations, including wedding cakes or themed cakes in the shape of unicorns or footballs.
