PBS is investing 20 million euros in Wels-Oberthan

The Wels specialist for paper, office and stationery is investing 20 million euros.

PBS was created from the merger of Joh. Haas and Beer/Vienna. The company’s history began more than 200 years ago with a printing shop on the Wels town square. At the beginning of the last century the company developed into a paper retail business under the name Joh. Haas. After the end of the Second World War, wholesale activities were stepped up, which soon made it necessary to move to Vogelweiderstrasse. The new hall is located on land that was formerly owned by Welser Betriebsansiedlungs-GmbH (WBA).
