9. JKU MedTalk: Interdisciplinary research in medical technology
Top-class discussion panel, moderated by Christine Haiden

For the ninth time, experts from various disciplines are meeting for a medical discussion at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz. Artificial intelligence, climate change and digital transformation create new challenges and require new solutions – especially in medicine. The MedTalk next Wednesday will therefore focus on interdisciplinary collaboration in research in the areas of medicine and medical technology.

Alois Ferscha, Institute for Pervasive Computing, Patricia Stark, Institute for Transformative Change, pharmacologist Susanna Zierler and dermatologist and venereologist Wolfram Hötzenecker will be on the panel. Christine Haiden, President of the Upper Austrian Press Club, will moderate the event. With the series of discussions, the JKU wants to offer a platform for exchange between doctors and experts six times a year. The discussions have been publicly accessible since this year.
