Primarius returns to hospital from retirement

Since January 2021, Primaria Andrea Koch has headed the Department of Pulmonology at the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Clinic (PEK), but now she wants to devote herself to research again and is therefore moving to the pulmonology department at the Kepler University Clinic in Linz on July 1st. In order to prevent a vacancy in the top position, her predecessor is now stepping in: Primarius Josef Bolitschek is returning from retirement to the department as its interim head until a successor is found after a new tender has been put out. This is a weight lifted from the management of the OÖ. Gesundheitsholding: Bolitschek knows the processes in the department and can therefore take over on a flying basis in the summer. Michael Hubich, medical director at the PEK, thanked both colleagues: Koch, for their services to the department and Bolitschek for his willingness to step in.
