After the episode, the Regional Health Directorate of Morocco released a statement in which it reported that, of the 100 poisoned, 81 are still under observation and remain hospitalized in hospitals in the province of Kenitra. The rest were discharged and others did not need to be treated.
Regarding the deceased, the specialists confirmed that they were all due to “serious poisoning complications“. In addition, 5 others were in serious health and had to be resuscitated.
