The 18-year-old, who was driving her car on the L589 at around 10:20 a.m., had tried to avoid the car of a 77-year-old who was turning left from a farm track onto the state road.
The young woman’s car crashed into a guardrail and overturned. The driver and her 13-year-old sister, who was sitting in the passenger seat, were injured. The ambulance took them to the hospital in Rohrbach, the police announced in the afternoon.
