One injured person and a heavily damaged vehicle: That is the result of a traffic accident on Monday morning in Mehrnbach (Ried im Innkreis district). A man from Innviertel lost control of his car while driving on the B141 towards Ried at around 6:45 a.m.
After a slight downhill curve, he came off the road on the right. The car overturned and only came to a stop in a meadow after about 150 meters, police reported on Monday. The 40-year-old driver, who was alone in the vehicle, sustained such serious injuries that he had to be taken to the hospital in Ried.
